Bio: The adventures of Amelia began last week, when she and her brother Zillah escaped euthanasia at a small shelter. Their mom, aunt, and other sibling will soon follow. Amelia hasn't been as brave as her brother, yet, but we know she'll get there! We spent the first few days hiding in the back of our kennel too scared to eat or drink. Then slowly laying with out paws hanging out, and accepting the goodies the foster mom drops off throughout the day. As long as she isn't looking. Soon we started having a blast playing outside with all of the other dogs here, especially the other nervous girl, Paisley! Rope toys, Jolly balls, squeakies, you bet. Love then all! Amelia's journey is just getting started and we can't wait to see where she lands. Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved.

Home Check

We ask for a virtual home tour (pictures or videos) Can be submitted through the application or when we contact.

3.
Interview

We will discuss what your looking for and if the current pet fits that or match you with someone who does . Done via phone.

4.
Approve Application

There is 3 days from time of approved app to determine a meet and greet

5.
Meet the Pet

All household members must be present and any current dogs.

6.
Sign Adoption Contract

Fee is paid. Adoption photo (if adopter is okay with ) is taken

7.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We keep our applications on file for a year. We try very hard for the best match all around. Definitely can switch the dog you applied for if a better fit is found.
