Meet Lucious! He is a 8-9 year old, 45 lb Catahoula mix on the hunt for his forever retirement home!
Lucious is house and kennel trained and just wants a family to love on and a warm place to snuggle up and enjoy his naps. He is still pretty active for a senior and enjoys being outside and playing with toys. He doesn't always like to give up his toys and can be a little stubborn about it, for that reason he would likely do best in a home without small children who may not understand how to best interact with him. He would be best as an only dog. He is a funny, mellow guy and of course just as handsome as can be.
Lucious is a goofy, playful guy that still has a lot to give and we know there is a home out there with a love for seniors looking for a dog like him!

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue whose mission is to help unwanted animals in situations that could lead to harm or euthanasia. We primarily focus on animals with major medical illnesses, injuries or advanced age that are often overlooked and usually the first to be at risk of euthanasia. By partnering with shelters and the public, we promote responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, and the adoption of special needs pets. It is our goal to save the un-savable!
