My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello y'all My name is Finn. I am a pint sized (perfect size) short stack of squishes. Yes my eyes are that handsome as well as my dark facial features and beautiful colors. I am approx 10 months old. Potty and crate trained. I will whine when I have to go out.
I prefer snuggles, laps, bed pillows and a human touch. I promise I don't snore to loud. I love hard and deep. My foster mom says I am good with all size dogs and submissive. Currently in my foster home I am with my foster brother Lil Red whom is 4 months (also for adoption) and my big foster brother whom is 5. We cuddle and play lots and sniff out the chipmunks around the yard. I will let you know if the mailman comes with my bark but will melt as soon as they start to talk and greet them with my love. I am great on a leash and would love to explore nature with you. I know how to sit and will learn and do anything for a treat. I also have a soft mouth and soft paws. When my people give me permission I put my paws up and make the biscuits on your belly(knead the dough) I love people and dogs friends. Unsure of cats. I will promise to be your person and these eyes of mine will make you melt. I am as kind and caring as they look. I would do great with another dog as this is all I know in my life thus far.

Northern Lakes Rescue wants to make adopting your next pet the best experience you have in adopting a pet. When you see a animal you are interested in we encourage you either email us at info@northernlakesrescue.org with what dog you are interested in.

We require all of our volunteers to respond with 48 hours to all email inquiries regarding adoptions.

All adoptions will require an application, home visit, personal and vet references and a meet and greet. Our adoption fees range from $300-400 depending on the dog.
All dogs over 6 months of age will be spay/neutered, vaccinated to age and micro-chipped. Puppies being adopted will require a spay/neuter and vaccine contract.

Finalizing an adoption will include a contract that you will sign and payment of your adoption fee.

Northern Lakes Rescue is foster based so all dogs are being fostered by amazing volunteers, because of this we require all meet and greets to be scheduled after an application is submitted.

Our focus after you apply is to get you scheduled to meet the dog within 3 to 7 days.
