Meet Georgie!

Mr Georgie is looking for a calm home to help him recover and heal. Georgie is loyal and loving Coonhound mix who was unfortunately diagnosed with Heartworms in Janurary of 2024. He is currently undergoing treatments, and will be so until into the late spring or early summer. Since he is undergoing treatments, he is not available for adoption, however he is searching for a dedicated foster to give him a comfy place to undergo treatment. Georgie weighs roughly 65lbs, and is friendly with dogs, cats, and children.

His foster would be responsible for giving Georgie him oral medications as directed, and bringing him to the shelter for check-ins and injections. Georgie needs a home that is able to give him love, security, and a calm place for himto rest. All medications and treatments are covered by the Humane Society.

Additional adoption info

The standard adoption fee is $175.00. This fee covers all of the vaccinations and/or spay and neuter. If the puppy or cat is too young to be spayed or neutered we require a $75.00 deposit that will be returned once the animal has been spayed or neuter.
