Meet Bryan. Our big, beautiful German Shepherd mix who has been here at the shelter for a WHOPPING 453 days. Not only has he been here this long, he hasn’t had a single soul show any interest in adopting him. 😞 He’s around 3-years-old, 70ibs, and has the potential to be SUCH an amazing boy. He needs work on a few small things such as jumping up on people and learning how to play a little more gently—he likes to wrestle and rough house around 🤣 but he wouldn’t harm a fly! Actually that’s a lie… he LOVES chasing flys! 🤣 We’re currently working with him on his manners issues and so far he is making great progress! He’s an active, energetic, playful, and VERY cuddly, loving boy. He likes water, playing tug-of-war, walks great on a leash, is currently doing well learning how to play fetch, and he is SO smart and picks up on new things very quickly!! He’d make a great running buddy, he’d be perfect for someone who likes to stay active, go for lots of walks, hiking in the woods, etc. Or he’d also do fantastic spending his days with his best friend running around the yard and playing at home, then spending his evenings cuddled up with you on the couch. 🥰♥️ His only downfall is that he needs to be the only animal in the home. We know this will make it so much harder to find him a family. But there HAS to be someone out there that can make his dream of having a home and family to call his own come true. 🥺 Bryan NEEDS a hero!!! Could that possibly be you? If not, do you know anyone else who might be? If there’s anything you can do to possibly help Bryan, please don’t hesitate to reach out! If you aren’t able to provide a home for him or don’t know anyone who could, please help by spreading the word about him. He deserves so much more than what life has dealt him. Seeing him wither away behind his kennel door day by day is breaking all of our hearts… If you think you can help this sweet boy, you can come visit us at the shelter during our open hours, call 417-358-6402 and ask to speak with the Kennel Manager and/or email neuterorspay@yahoo.com with any questions you might have, or even better… you can go ahead and fill out an adoption application for him on our website! Bryan and all of us at the shelter thank you so much in advance for any help you can give. 💕💕💕
