Cookie is a 3.5 year old half Golden Retriever, half Pitt/Staffordshire terrier mix who has been with me since she was born! She is very well socialized as she began twice weekly daycare at 6 months and has always lived with other dogs. She is fairly high energy, loves attention and play time and does best with a fenced in back yard (preferably with a doggie door) so she can entertain herself when no one is home. She is fully trained and knows all basic commands plus a few, however, she can get very excited when you come home etc... and may jump so very young kids or elderly adopters may not be the best fit. Cookie has never been involved in a fight with any dog or human in all her years of daycare and is a super affectionate lovely girl! Ideally, the smoothest transition for her new home would be into a family or active household with a fenced yard or lots of walks and plenty of love and attention to give as she is very used to being spoiled :) Moving August 1st 2024.
