Loki is a Sheba/ Chi breed. He is 15 lbs and about 6 years old.. Very friendly and quiet. He does not bark very at all. He really doesn’t even like to play with dog toys. He does love a good soft blanket and loves to snuggle with someone! He would do well with anyone that could give him attention and take him on walks. He is neutered and up to date on all his shots. He is super loving and ok with other dogs too.
Loki is housebroken. He was originally pee pad trained, but he is also house broken.
Yes, he is crate trained. I currently have a crate for him in my home and I use it.
Yes, he is an excellent car rider! He will lay down on the seat and not move until the car stops. He not one of those dogs that likes to wander around the car. He's very still when he rides.
Does he do well with kids? I really cannot answer this question. My son is 17 years old and I don't have any smaller children. I believe he would be fine. I will say this...he does feel threatened by larger dogs and prefers to either be the only dog in the house or have other dogs around him that are the same size. I did have another dog around him he absolutely loved. Boyfriend/Girlfiend kind of thing, same size.
I can tell you a little bit about his 'past life' from what I've been told. He was in a home where he belong to a younger adult (late teens/early 20's). This younger adult was not very kind to Loki and neglected him at times. What that "neglect" entailed, I do not know. Loki IS scared of men until he gets to know you. Then he's ok. He also does not like loud noises at all. I have had him a little under a year now. He is pretty loyal and will sit right by your side.
He loves attention and will sit in your lap and snuggle with you. He is a very expressionless dog. He doesn't really wag his tail much or smile, but he will snuggle up a storm with you. I always say, he's always got just a blank look on his face. Sometimes I laugh because he looks like he's gonna cry. He'll give you the sad puppy eyes.
. Loki had a bath and nail grind last week on Tuesday at Petsmart. I take him on a regular basis. His hair does not really get long enough to cut. He's got that kind of fur that stay pretty short. Ohh and Loki is 8 years old.
