Meet this adorable kitten named Muffin! She came into the shelter December 17, 2023 and was never reclaimed so she’s awaiting her chance at a happily ever after. She came in around 2 months old and is now current in shots (will get boosters when due while in our care). Seems to like other kitties and is sweet and full of kitten playfulness. Just a happy girl who deserves a fun loving FOREVER home to grow up in knowing happiness and a great life. A few tips for kitties,,,clipping their nails back every ~5 weeks reduces their need to scratch in order to file them back. May require 2 people (one holding while other trims). Cats love to climb…climbing post are always great and fun. Toys…the more the merrier. Kittens do great in pairs since there will always be a friend around when family is away. Stop by for a visit with Muffin and hope these kitty tips help bring extra happiness with your kitty!!
We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Adopt-a-Pet as up to date as we would like. So please, COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to one or more kitties today! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery, and some vets honor the voucher 100%! Such a great deal -- while also saving a life!! All of our cats are tested for FIV as well as Feline Leukemia before being placed up for adoption.
Not quite ready for the commitment of adoption but would love to contribute to the health and happiness of our feline fur babies? We'd very much appreciate some litter, or food (especially kitten food - Purina is their favorite!). Maybe you will have some time to snuggle and love on them while you're here. It makes their time here more enjoyable when they get extra love & attention. Also, we need volunteers & foster homes! Come to the shelter to apply!
The shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm (we close from 1pm-2pm for lunch), and Saturday 10am-4pm. Hope to see you soon!
