Mabel is an affectionate and gentle bloodhound who LOVES to be petted and loved on. Not into playing with dog toys or playing fetch. She naturally bonds more to males - human or dog companion. Great with kids and little ones although will jump when excited. If introduced right, she will do ok with other dogs, though she can be territorial.
She likes to have her space when resting in her bed and when eating.
Mabel is house trained, but is a little bit of a Diva and you have to make sure she goes out if it's raining, she will try to use the house.
Mable currently lives using a doggy door so she can come and go all day but she doesn't like it if she's locked out.
Mable really likes spending her time with family. When family isn't home she spends her time sun bathing outside or sleeping in her cot.
She is very breed typical and will find ways out of a doggy gate to get to food or find a couch to lay on to sleep instead of her bed.
Although bloodhounds are known for baying and slobbering, she surprisingly doesn't slobber unless drinking water and will bay in joy when you come home or when there is a visitor. She has no health issues.
