Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Above ground fenced yard. Applications at https://www.southcentralbloodhounds.org/adoption-1
Denham Springs LA area
Jezzebelle was running loose for at least a month and had to be trapped. Though initially extremely timid and scared she has made a dramatic turn around and is showing us that at one time she had a family who spent time with her and loved her.
She is, however, still quite afraid of men and is going to have to be with a family who understands she will need time and space, as well as effort to overcome that fear.
She absolutely loves going for car rides and walks. She loves toys and play. She is very affectionate once she has met you.
She has the right stuff to make a wonderful family pet and just needs the family who is willing to take her into their hearts so she can open hers.

We require an application and a home visit (where possible). All homes must have an above ground fence except in rare cases when we have a dog who would do well on a ranch. Our adoption fees are: Puppies 6 months and under $400. Between 7 months and 6 years $250. 6+ years $100. We require a signed adoption agreement.

We cover seven states and hold rescue & adoption events across our region. All of the bloodhounds in our program are placed in foster homes. If you're interested in meeting a particular dog or just a bloodhound in general, let us know!
