Greetings everyone! I'm Ruby, a 2-year-old female Jindo mix, weighing approximately 12kg, and eagerly await my forever family!
Originally raised as a farm protector, I spent my days outdoors until a kind soul noticed me and decided to rescue me.
I'm incredibly friendly towards people, including strangers, readily accepting pets and even allowing them to carry me around without hesitation.
When it comes to other dogs, I'm polite and will greet them gently, though I'm more interested in exploring and interacting with humans. If faced with aggression from other dogs, I prefer to steer clear and avoid conflict altogether.
With a low to moderate energy level, I thoroughly enjoy outdoor walks and remain calm and content indoors. While I may pull a bit on the leash out of excitement, I am attentive to my handler's cues.
I excel in quiet areas during walks but can become anxious in the face of loud noises or busy streets.
Resource guarding isn't an issue for me when it comes to people, but I may growl if other dogs encroach on my space.
Barking is a rarity for me, and when I do vocalize, it's usually to communicate a need.
I struggle with car sickness, likely due to my limited experience with car rides, but with time and practice, I'm sure to improve.
For potty habits, I'm flexible, comfortable with both indoor and outdoor options, though once our walking routine is established, I'll likely prefer outdoor potty breaks exclusively.

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.
We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.
We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
