Hi Everyone, Chicken Nugget AKA Canelo here, can you HELP A DOGGO OUT ?
I have been living in a crate in the lobby at the Harbor Shelter in San Pedro for over 7 months now and I am losing HOPE! ?
Every day.
All Day long.
People walk by me.
Once in a while they glance at me.
A few times people actually smiled at me or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.
I sit here EVERY. DAY. WAITING.
It's been MONTHS.
And no one has taken me home.
I get it.
I'm not a white floofy dog, or have a fancy merle coat, or blue eyes, and I'm not a puppy
I'm just a brown-ish pitbull with a defeated look on my face.
I see soooo many people all day every day but NO ONE seems to see ME.
I'm so very sad.
I don't want to die here after all this time of waiting. And Longing.
I dream of leaving thru the front door and sniffing the grass.
I dream of a home with a yard where I can sunbathe or frolic.
I dream of sleeping in a bed in an actual HOME.
I dream of going on walks.
And....I DREAM OF A KIND HUMAN WALKING INTO THIS PLACE AND TAKING ME HOME.
