Meet Honey, our adorable one-year-old American Bully! Honey is a new member of our shelter family, and we couldn't be more excited to introduce her to you. However, Honey has had a tough start in life and is still adjusting to new environments, textures, sounds, and people. But don't worry, our dedicated staff and volunteers are working tirelessly to show Honey that the world is a safe and welcoming place. We believe that with patience, love, and guidance, Honey will shine like a star! If you're thinking about adopting Honey, please keep in mind that she needs plenty of time and space to acclimate to new things and build her confidence. Honey would thrive in a home with other dogs who can help her come out of her shell and show her the ropes. Are you ready to give this sweet girl the loving forever home she deserves? ¡Conoce a Honey, nuestra adorable American Bully de un año! More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
