My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Willow. I'm a sweet gal who loves nothing more than a warm lap and gentle strokes. I do get a bit anxious when left alone, and crates, well, they're not my favorite. I prefer the company of humans to other dogs, they're just not my cup of tea. I'm looking for a loving home where I can spend my golden years, showering my new family with love and affection. Will you be my forever home?

FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "I took Willow to a nearby nursing home and she was an absolute hit with the residents! She walked around and greeted all of the residents that were sitting in the common area and enjoyed getting pets from them. She was such a calm presence and she even laid down and relaxed while we were there. She does a good sit on command and rode wonderfully in the car. There was another dog at the nursing home as well and she sniffed him a bit and was happy to coexist throughout the visit. She is an absolute sweetheart. The residents requested that she come back!"
"I took Willow out to Trinity Groves for a long walk across the bridge and some relaxation in the sun. She rode fantastic in the car and is great on walks. She zig zags a little on the leash, but it's manageable. She enjoys walking up to other people and sniffing all the new sights and smells. After a long walk, I laid down a blanket in the grassy area and she LOVED basking in the sunshine. She is a cuddle bug! She snuggled up to me and kept rolling on her back to get some belly rubs. She is such a calm, sweet dog with a heart of gold".
