My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

True to his name, Smiley is a bundle of joy. While he may seem reserved at first, it wonandamp;#39;t take long for his warm and friendly nature to shine through. His favorite pastime includes giving hugs that can melt even the coldest hearts and finding the perfect spot to curl up - whether itandamp;#39;s in your lap or comfortably nestled at your feet.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Smiley can be a bit cautious around other dogs initially, but once the ice is broken, he transforms into a playful and energetic companion.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;In the presence of Smiley, every day is brighter, and every moment is filled with love. Whether heandamp;#39;s curling up beside you on a lazy afternoon or bounding through the park with newfound pals, Smiley is the epitome of canine charm. Adopting Smiley means welcoming not just a pet but a lifelong friend into your home - a friend who will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression with his infectious joy and unwavering love.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

With hundreds of pets at the shelter and in foster, we recommend checking our website before visiting in person.

2.

Meet the Pet

We recommend bringing the whole family, including resident dogs, to meet the pet you're interested in adopting to ensure it's a good match.

3.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption team will review the adoption contract with you. Adoption fees are $30 for dogs and $5 for cats unless during a special promo.

Additional adoption info

All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person. As a high-intake shelter, most of the pets that come to us are strays, meaning we have limited background history on the pet, such as health, behavioral or living history. All adoptions include the animal's spay/neuter procedure, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and city license. All adoptions include a 7 day free trial with our training partner, GoodPup to help ease the transition!
