My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I just want to say before we go any further, that I'm playing for keeps. My name is Keeper and I'm just that, a dog you'll want to hold onto and whose love will change you forever. I wasn't my best self when I arrived at the shelter but staff here were patient and kind, helping me get back on all four feet. It's like I'm a whole new boy now and I'm ready to start living and loving life with Y O U. I'm an affectionate boy with an old soul who loves everyone he meets. If I can come this far in the shelter, just imagine how far I can go with you. See you soon?

More about this rescue

Located in beautiful north central Wisconsin, we have a beautiful new facility and dog walking trails. We believe in the humane and ethical treatment of all living creatures, and promote these beliefs in our actions and educational outreach programs. We work with rescue groups, volunteers, and the public to promote sterilization of companion pets and "forever" homes. All dogs, cats and rabbits are sterilized before adoption or have a scheduled appointment at a time determined by veterinary staff.
