We are hoping our very own, Bret Michaels, can howl his way into your heart! Bret Michaels is estimated to be around 5 years old, and a terrier mix. He is a stunning boy, who came into our shelter as a stray. Coming into the shelter, Bret was very nervous and would run to the other side of the kennel when someone approached to take him out. Now, he is getting more comfortable, and is starting to wag his tail to go for walks. Mr. Michaels is great on lead, and enjoys sniffing around his new surroundings. Bret was a bit uncomfortable during his dog test, so at this time our behavior team feels it is best that he is placed in a solo dog only home. We don't think he has ever had any toys of his own, as he was unsure of how to "play" at first, but is starting to get the hang of it and enjoys tug ropes, and he noticed he feels more comfortable in his kennel when he has a stuffed toy to sleep with! At this time, he can be placed in a home with teens, 16+.
