What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We brought Finley into our home in May of 2023 after living with a foster family as a rescue from a very poor home situation. We have loved and nurtured him through some rough patches into what is a very vibrant and energetic dog today, but unfortunately lack the necessary time to devote to his playful nature and our backyard is too small and not conducive to being outdoors for extended periods of time.
We believe he is about 2 years old and is a mix between Poodle (75%), Australian Shepherd (12.5%) and Retriever (12.5%). He currently weighs 75 lbs. and gets along rather well with our other dog, a 2-year old female Doodle.
We feel a home that can offer a large, fenced yard and older kids who can take him on long walks and play fetch (his favorite), would be the best environment for him. While not an easy decision, we have his best interest at heart and want to see a family love him as much as we do.
Thank you for considering Finley
