The best surprises are usually those you never saw coming, right? In early December, we had a Golden Retriever named Coqui up for adoption who joined our care after being found as a stray in New York City and brought to the ACC. Shortly after getting adopted, we were all surprised to learn she was pregnant! Coqui gave birth to seven healthy and adorable puppies in the first week of February. They have all been thriving and receiving the best care from Mama and incredible foster parents! Now, they've opened their eyes and are developing their personalities. While we are unsure who the father is, they look very golden! We are accepting applications for the litter, and they will each be ready to go into their forever homes in early April once they are 8 weeks old. They will receive their age-appropriate vaccines in our care, and their adopters will be required to spay/neuter them when age-appropriate under the adoption contract. These sweet pups are going to make amazing additions to any family!
