My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Puma

This stunning girl is approximately 2 years old. She was one of our mama cats, and thankfully all of her kittens have been adopted, so now it is her turn to find her forever home. She is house trained, up to date on her vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Puma is an extremely affectionate cat, she loves to sit on her people and get all the loving. She likes to be pet and will nuzzle right into all the scratches. She will happily show all of her affection by “kneading bread” on your chest, lap, or blanket beside you. Puma loves to be apart of the action and will lay on the couch while you watch tv, or be beside you as you fold laundry - she’s very supportive in all the chores.

We don’t know how she will be with other animals, but she has been around a 2.5 year old human child, and has been described as very patient. She was great.

Like a typical cat she will get the kitty zoomies, and playfully sprint around the house. She loves to be cheered on! Puma doesn’t wake her people up at night, but once the alarm goes off in the morning she is up and ready to greet you!

Everyone who has met her has said the same thing: “Anyone would be very lucky to have her"

More about this rescue

We are a volunteer-based, donation-only service that provides adoption services for people who are looking for a new furry addition to their family. We also provide non-judgemental, supportive help for people who are surrendering their companion animals.

We provide free advice and suggestions to people who are experiencing issues with their pets, including but not limited to behavioural issues, training advice, surrender help, and much more: spay/neuter education, advice and referrals.

We have a screening process that includes an application, telephone screen and a home visit to make sure the people are "as good as they sound on the phone". We also contact their vet and do a reference check.

We are committed to helping people find homes for their pets because we care about our community and love animals.
