My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pepper is a beautiful 8-month-old Labrador Retriever mix. This pretty girl was surrendered to rescue because her family failed her. She was raised with young kids but never given any training or manners. She is sweet, and great with other dogs. Said to chase cats she was fine with mine when meeting. Pepper is crate trained and mostly housebroken. She wants to please and will make someone an amazing pet.

Adoption fee is $450

More about this rescue

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.

PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
Please contact us if you would like to help foster, transport, fundraise or volunteer.
