Cooper is a beautiful 18-month-old purebred Aussie. I rescued him in April. We do everything together, car rides, hiking. Unfortunately his energy level is more than I can handle. I installed a fenced yard but neighbors complain about barking so I don't leave him outside. He plays well with other dogs, no aggression. With his energy I can't take him around my 92-year-old mother in Ohio and don't want to board him whenever I need to visit her. Breaks my heart to have to place him but he needs a different home than I can provide. I travel back and forth from Murphy, NC to Hamilton, OH to care for my mother. The time I need to be there has increased, and shelters near where I live are full, as well as foster homes. I am hoping that I can find a foster in Ohio or anywhere in between where I can ensure a good home for Cooper, before I'm forced to move from Murphy to be full time with my mother in Ohio.
