Meet Nina, a 2.5 year old, 25-ish pound wonderful Cattle dog/Terrier mix. She is friendly and gets along with other dogs well!
This petite young lady was picked up pregnant and stray, so she is shy--for about a minute, then she is all about the snuggles and smooches! She has raised her EIGHT beautiful babies and now she is ready for her forever. Her idea of the perfect day? How about you throw that tennis ball until your arm gets tired (she never will!) and then we curl up on the couch for a movie and belly rubs? She has basic obedience down and is highly motivated by food and loving humans to keep learning more. She is working on leash manners but loves the outdoors--romping, splashing, you name it. WIth her nimble frame, energy and motivation, she'd be aces at agility or just learning some extra tricks for you both to enjoy. She loves the company of other dogs and plays happily with her foster brother, who is about the same size. Smaller house or farm animals are not for this girl--she's hot to chase squirrels and anything (see above: tennis ball!) that's moving fast. But you'll be as impressed by her high-speed mode as her low-power setting--this girl melts into a snuggle you won't forget!

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
