My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet handsome Niles! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/18, and no one has come to reclaim him. Niles is now hoping for a new forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. Niles has been quiet in his kennel since his arrival and he enjoys his Kong treats! This boy has lots of fun energy so he'll need an active family who will spend time playing with him and including him in their outdoor adventures. Niles knows how to sit nicely when asked and he takes treats gently. The volunteers describe him as friendly and curious. Don't you just love his ears?! They have a personality of their own!

Niles is approximately 3 years old, and he weighs 51 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Niles in run 876; his ID # is 653784.

Niles loves to play, see video: https://youtu.be/pcau0llCeG8?feature=shared

Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff. If this pet came in as lost (not an owner surrender), we don't know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

This pet and many others are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Shelter hours are: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, CLOSED Mondays & Holidays. The shelter prefers people to make an appointment, go to - https://nqa3.nemoqappointment.com/Booking/Booking/Index/as65fg9dr953 and select Adoption. You can also show up between 10:30 & 4:00 Tues. thru Sun. (shelter closes at 4:30), you might have to wait a few minutes until someone can help you. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip. When you book an appointment, it doesn't reserve a particular pet for you. Thank you for considering a Cobb pet!
