My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

EMMIE is just a darling, 1 yr old, 48 lb Shepherd Mix.... she is mostly full grown. Still quite puplike....a lot of fun. Emmie asks we convey, "TOYS are MANDATORY wherever she goes!" She loves car rides and is learning leash wallks are pretty cool too! Emmie was in a prior home with Panda (also posted for adoption).
Emmie loves all the dogs in her foster home and will be fine adopted to a new home without Panda. They will both be ok separated.... even though they do love each other very much.
Previous owner surrendered them because he was being evicted an could not take the dogs to his new place. Law enforcement was called on the guy because he was leaving the dogs without shelter or food for days at a time. As this is terribly sad, these two seem non-affected..... they are adjusting very well in foster care. Enjoying their food and treats. We are moving them forward..... never to look back. Emmie will make some luck Family so very happy.
Emmie is currently in West Tennessee (Gleason).

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

We first require an adoption application be completed. We ask for vet references in addition to personal (non family) references. We then put you in touch with the foster parents to discuss the dog you are inquiring about. We feel this gives us a better understanding if the dog is a fit for your home. A contract is required upon approval and adoption fees are paid through pay pal or directly to our vet and the transport company.

Go meet their pets

we are a foster based group so no shelter is available for meeting. We are happy to provide references .

More about this rescue

We are a foster based rescue. Our dogs-puppies come from various sources- individuals who must surrender their animals, unwanted litters, abandoned dogs, some from abused situations and we pull many from high kill shelters in West Tennessee. We started as a group of girls who wanted to make a difference. Today we have added a few guys and still our goal is the same. We also use part of the adoption fees to ensure all mothers we receive pups from are altered and offer when we can help to those who cannot afford to have their pet altered.
