Hi! My name is Farkle! I'm a young girl who was surrendered because my owner no longer had time to take care of me. I have so much fun playing with toys, and I am a good walker and know all my basic commands! I'm such a good girl! Obedience classes would be beneficial because I am smart and eager to pleas! I am full of energy but love to cuddle and get hugs too! I can be hesitant of new people at first, but once I open up, I will be your best friend! I don't seem to be a big fan of kids, so I would do best in a home with older kids who will respect my space, preferably teenage and older. I have lived with another dog in the past, but some dogs here overwhelm me, so we would need to have a proper introduction first to make sure it is a good fit. I'd love to break free of the shelter environment. I'm ready for a new start! Come ask to meet me!

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
