My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eddie was found by a Good Samaritan who took him to the Ruff Love Rescue vet, Blue Flint Animal Hospital.  He was emaciated and anemic.  Beyond that, it appeared he has been attacked by another dog.  He received great care from Blue Flint and then came to the Ruff Love Rescue to recuperate, and recuperate he did.  It is amazing to see what great vet care, food and love can make.  He's a different dog.  Blue Flint called him an All American Dog, a Heinz 57 of breeds.  He's full of energy and very playful, so he would need an active family.  Like most rescued dogs, he is oh so ready to be a loyal companion and love his forever family.

~Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption and fill out an application to make this pup a member of your family

More about this rescue

Ruff Love was founded by Sue Rogers in response to the overwhelming numbers of abandoned dogs in the Randolph County/Davidson County area. Over time, we have developed a network of volunteers and foster homes. Our rescue efforts are geared toward dogs. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization so all donations to us are tax deductible. Currently, we are caring for over 100 dogs in our program, and almost 70 are adoptable. Most of the dogs that are not up for adoption are either old or are suffering from chronic health conditions. They will live out their days well cared for and comfortable in with Ruff Love Rescue.
