My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Exotic and elegant, Hope is a petite (just 6lbs) Main Coon and Abyssinian mix. Bright green eyes, pretty long hair in auburn, white and caramel- she’s a beauty! Hope is estimated to be 4 years old and previously had a home where she was the only cat. She was happy being the only cat but she does get along with other cats that, like her, like to do their own thing. Dogs- she’s not a fan. She accepts kisses on the head and a gentle pets but more than anything, she likes to sit and be admired. Her long hair will need to be brushed a few times a week and she would benefit from professional grooming once a year. Hope likes both wet and dry food but Fancy Feast flaked trout is the way to her heart.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Foster homes.

2.

Submit Application

The application requires a vet reference and two non-family personal references. Our app asks for employment info, address & year started.

3.

Interview

We speak to the adopter by phone and again in person.

Additional adoption info

We also like to meet other family members and room mates. If someone is renting, we check with the landlord to be sure pets are allowed. We adopt out 2 kittens at a time to prevent boredom and loneliness. One kitten can be adopted only if there are other pets in the family.

More about this rescue

We are Lauren’s Lost Cats Rescue. It is our mission to reduce the population of cats on the streets, while simultaneously educating communities about TNRV. For those cats that are friendly, we find fosters and/or permanent homes.
