Meet the regal King, reigning as the monarch of our hearts and a true survivor. Originally part of a hoarder/eviction rescue, he faced harsh conditions, confined to a garage with a cold, wet cement floor as his bed. Adopted from the Dallas shelter at 18 months old in 2015, King is now approaching 11 years and cherishing every moment outdoors in the sun and fresh air, making up for lost time.
We adore seniors at Chloe's Pet Rescue, and King, the last to be rescued, holds a special place in our mission. A lab mix weighing 89 pounds, he's heartworm negative, fully vetted, and ready to embrace the love he deserves in a forever home. Despite the challenges he faced, King's spirit remains strong, and his adoption fee is $125. If you're ready to open your heart to this noble companion, consider making King a cherished member of your family, go to our website and complete an application for adoption. www.chloespetrescue.org/application

Additional adoption info
We are a RESCUE ORGANIZATION; please complete your online Adoption Application, which can be found on our website. We require an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit with the pet. ALL of our pets are spayed, neutered or scheduled prior to being adopted. They are UTD on shots, heartworm negative, treated or scheduled to be treated, and micro chipped. They must be kept on heartworm preventative for the rest of their lives. Our adoption fees vary. Puppies have an increased adoption fee since they need three or four sets of shots, multiple de-wormings, and other puppy needs to keep them healthy.

CPR is an animal rescue organization run solely by volunteers. Our primary goal is to save dogs from euthanization at shelters as a result of factors such as a lack of funding and space. These wonderful animals are put at risk because they have no one to claim and adopt them. We aim to give them the second chance that they so deserve. Our animals come to us from shelters around DFW and stay in foster homes where they are given the medical attention (vaccinations, surgeries, heart worm testing, etc) and care that they deserve.
