My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Olive is a domestic shorthair black female who is two years old. She is mama to Martini, Captain Morgan, and Smirnoff. She is currently in foster care.

Meet Olive, a sweet and shy feline. She's a bit shy in new situations and takes her time to adjust to new environments. Loud noises tend to startle her, so a calm and quiet home would be her sanctuary. Olive needs a patient adopter who will take their time to allow her to overcome her scaredy cat tendencies. Olive's love and companionship are as enduring as her spirit. With patience and understanding, she will bloom into a loyal and loving companion. Olive's timid demeanour doesn't stop her from accepting affection. Her foster mom cuddles with her every night in bed and watches tv while Olive lies on her chest purring away. She's a testament to the saying, 'Good things come to those who wait'. Adopt Olive and experience the rewarding journey of earning her trust and love.

Olive is spayed, microchipped and is fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. She is FIV negative and FeLV negative. Adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Additional adoption info

Most of our cats live in foster homes. Some are available to meet at satellite locations such as Pet Valu and Ren's Depot. A few foster homes are available to meet and greets at their home, or we also do meet and greets at request at our shelter prior to adoption. Most of these results in same day adoptions, and only take place after an adoption interview.
