My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.

Requirements:
Canine Companion
Secure PHYSICAL fenced yard

Agatha has a big name for such a small lady! She is only about 5 lbs and fits nicely in a lap.

Agatha is a puppy mill survivor. She had never known what it was like to live in a home prior to coming to us. She is learning that not all humans are bad and will hurt her. She gets scared of unfamiliar sounds and fast movements. She will initial run when trying to pick her up, but once in your arms she is content to be petted.

Agatha is playful and enjoys the company of other dogs. She is learning lots from her foster fur babies and will need a dog in her new home. Agatha is a flight risk, does not know how to walk on a leash, and will try to get away. She will require a secure physical fenced yard.

Agatha's adoption is $375. She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped and on monthly flea and heart worm prevention. Visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
