My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Katie is a sweet, laidback boxer mix who just turned a year old. She was surrendered along with her brother and a pup because her owner couldn’t afford to feed them. Katie is a very quiet easy going girl who gets along with cats and other dogs , kids and adults. She is spayed, utd on vaccines, microchipped clear on hw but being treated for Lyme disease. Owner said she is a purebred boxer with an undocked tail but I’m pretty sure she has something mixed in with boxer.owner said she’s housebroken and also crate trained.

Additional adoption info

Fee's vary according to age and health needs when dog's come into rescue. We have a contract that states that a dog must be returned to our rescue if the owner is unable to keep it at any time. Refferences are required and will be checked.

More about this rescue

I have been involved in rescue for the past ten years ever since I was asked to foster a pregnant boxer for another rescue. Beth was doing rescue on her own as was Rozanne who did alot of fostering for the Monroeville shelter. This year we decided to ghet together and apply for our 501c3 as Sad Tails of PA or SAD for short.
