My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lover lives up to his name, by being a real snuggle buddy. He is an older gentleman who has a little extra weight, that he has been working diligently to lose. Lover and his brother Lord, were surrendered by a homeless family, that couldn't afford to take care of them anymore. Rents got out of control and extra money for having cats in the apartment, meant not being able to feed their children. Luckily these people surrendered the boys to a no-kill rescue.
We have become to understand Lover better since he's been living in a foster home. He LOVES his person and wants to be with them constantly. His best new forever home would either be a retired person, or a person, who works from home.
He also does NOT like other cats, Gental dogs he's not a fan, but he will tolerate. them.
We know his new family is out there just waiting to give this older gentleman a loving new home.

To adopt, you will need to fill out an adoption application at www.savingpaws.com. We will then process your application, which typically takes 1 to3 days for processing as we are 100% volunteer-run. Once you are approved, you arrange a time to come out to our rescue or foster home(s) to meet the pet(s) you are interested in and to pick up your new companion(s). All applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

SAVING PAWS Animal Rescue Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless, abandoned and special needs animals and finding new adoptive homes or providing lifelong sanctuary for them; we also seek to decrease the number of unwanted animals and the amount of animal cruelty in our community through outreach and education.

Our no-kill rescue is completely volunteer-run and 100% of donations go directly to the care of the animals.
