My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rusty is a handsome and fun purebred beagle. He is so smart, he knows sit, shake, down, and roll over. He is a smaller beagle weighing 21 pounds. Rusty is 3 1/2 years old, so past the puppy stage. This happy boy is quite active and would love a fenced yard and children to play with. He will take any chance he can to go on an adventure, with his nose the the ground, so doors and gates need to be securely closed. He is potty trained and crate trained. Rusty is good with some dogs but not others.

Rusty's adoption fee is $300. He is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped with registration, heartworm tested negative and on flea/tick/hw preventatives. If interested please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/

If we find a good match for you, you can pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

Adopters fill out a no-obligation contract. If approved, they will fill out a contract for the animal. Adoption fees are $200 per dog ($250 for puppies 6 months and younger) and $60 for cats ($100 for kittens), which includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip registration, deworming medications, heartworm and flea preventative.

This is a small, foster based rescue run by volunteers. Please be patient as it may take a few days to approve your application.
