Say howdy to Hickory! He didn't have the best start to life, but his foster mom says he is a super-duper dog who is very smart, very playful, and very loving! She thinks he might do well with other dogs and might do ok with older kids. He loves toys and destroying them :) Hickory is crate trained and sleeps in his kennel at night. We’re crossing our paws for the perfect home to come along soon!

Hickory is still searching for his fur-ever home! Hickory settles well in his crate during the day and is also perfect overnight. He is friendly and enjoys affection. He enjoys training and has some basic cues he loves to show off for his foster mom! He is an active dog who enjoys running and romping with his toys. He loves meeting new people, and will tell you when he hears something outside that needs your attention!

He would love an active home or large yard. We predict he would do well with other dogs and seems okay with cats!

**Please note, this dog is in a foster home and not at our shelter. We will be scheduling appointments with an approved adopter to meet him.**
