My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Crispy
Age: Approximately 1.5 years old
Gender: Male
Location: Istanbul, Turkey (Currently in a foster home)
Breed: Nova Scotia Duck-Tolling Retriever mix (based on his look)

Background:
Crispy's journey hasn't been an easy one, but his spirit remains unbroken. This resilient young dog was abandoned at a municipal shelter in Turkey after being hit by a car. Despite facing such adversity, Crispy's determination to overcome shines brightly. His rear left leg had to be amputated due to the severity of his injuries, but he hasn't let that slow him down.

Personality:
Crispy is a true survivor with a heart full of love to give. Despite his past experiences, he's incredibly resilient and has a zest for life that's truly inspiring. He's adapting well to his foster home environment, and his house training is progressing nicely. Crispy gets along well with both cats and dogs, showcasing his friendly and adaptable nature.

Special Needs:
As a tripod dog, Crispy may require some extra care and attention, but don't let that deter you. He's proven time and again that he's more than capable of living life to the fullest, even with one less leg. Crispy is looking for a forever home where he'll be cherished for the amazing dog that he is, regardless of his physical differences.

Ideal Home:
Crispy would thrive in a loving and understanding home where he'll receive the care, patience, and support he deserves. He's a resilient and loving companion who's ready to share his heart with a family who will appreciate him for the incredible dog he is. Crispy would do well with other pets and in a home where he'll receive plenty of love, attention, and opportunities for adventure.

Crispy can fly to Toronto or Vancouver when he finds his forever home!
