My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Izzy is a rescue from the streets of Mexico. He is sweet and super adorable , he gets along with everyone and is very chill not hyper or high energy at all. He loves affection and is very loyal. Just all around a wonderful dog also would do great in apartment living. Please call us if you’re interested in adopting him. 💕💕💕💕💕💕

More about this rescue

I've been an animal lover and activist all my life. I use to live in Southern California and had a pet supply store from 1995 to 2010 where we only had rescue animals for adoption. I was one of the very first to apply this concept of getting animals out of high kill shelters and finding them good homes. In those 15 years I placed over 16 thousand animals. I left California in 2016 and moved to Washington. Since living here I noticed that there are not as many animals here for adoption and, knowing the situation in LA, I wanted to start rescuing again. I am home most of the time and I have a lot of knowledge about dogs.
