Meet Fearless Floyd! This big guy is a bold, adventuresome pal whose ideal life would probably be living on top of a mountain. He's polydactyl so all those extra toes lend themselves to climbing and balance. He's smarter than your average toddler, and he loves affection and positive reinforcement. And he hugs! Yes, literally every morning he will wrap his arms around you and rub his face into you!
He has a lot of energy and is very playful so he definitely needs enough space for big cat zoomies and someone who can give him a lot of stimulation. He will quickly make himself at home in any situation. He's very good with strangers and will come up and rub without hesitation.
Floyd and my resident cat are existing well together. Although he definitely wants to play more and she wants to chill more … it's not the best match. I would imagine a cat that had a similar disposition would be an ideal partner.
He loves getting his harness on and walking outside. He's seen neighbors’ dogs and has no fear and wants to check them out, but I haven't fully exposed him to a dog yet so I can't say for sure how he'd react.
This is not a novice's cat. He's not a background kind of guy. He needs an experienced cat owner who understands all things cat and knows how to be compassionate and meet a cat on their own level. Could it be you?? Floyd is currently located in Minneapolis.
Floyd is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
