My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam is a 3-5 year old Great Dane, and just the sweetest boy. He is currently being fostered in a home with a female (spayed) Great Dane, and they play extremely well together. He loves toys of any kind, especially balls which he likes to throw around for himself! He is housebroken and good in his crate. Currently working on his basics like sit, down, stay, leave it, etc. He is a great snuggler, and will take ANY opportunity to crawl right into your lap!

Sam is being fostered in Accokeek, Maryland. If you have other dogs we ask you bring them for a meet. If you are out of state, we require you to come to where foster is for meet and greet.

More about this rescue

We are a 501c3, foster based dog rescue, with a passion for the dogs that many overlook. We operate on the passion and commitment our volunteers and fosters have for helping these giants.

Isaac Newton once said "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants"

Giant Hearts says "Sometime, even Giants need shoulders to stand on."
