My name is Miley!

This beautiful girl is Miley. She is an American Bulldog Mix aprox 4-5 years old. She is sweet and very loving. Miley is currently a little plump at 75-80lbs and could stand to lose 10 pounds. Miley loves food and is not motivated to leave the couch if you are not going with her. She is good with children, but we would prefer she go to a home with older children (teenager) due to her sleeping issues. At times Miley wakes up from a deep sleep afraid and unaware of her surroundings. This can be problematic if she is sleeping on your lap and she is thrashing around. Training Miley to sleep on her bed and not the couch should be an easy fix.  Miley tells us that she would like to be an only dog because she deserves all the treats, attention and toys.

Miley would make a wonderful loving companion. She is quiet in the house, house trained, and walks gently on a leash. Miley’s desire for a quieter less active lifestyle would make her well suited for a house or an apartment.

She is gorgeous and oh so sweet. At adoption events she will press her body against the wire crate to get pets and scratches. All most to the point of tipping the crate over. If you are paying too much attention to someone, she will paw at you to get your attention. She loves people and just can't get enough lovingn, howere she can be particular about the company that she chooses both people and other dogs. She would love to be in an only dog home getting all of the attention.

Life was not always so sweet for MIley. Before coming to rescue, she was tied up in the yard, living her life outside. She had many, many litters of puppies in her life. And came to rescue heartworm postive.  She has since been spayed and treated for heartworms.
