Why I need a new home

Fostered

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted 9 week old Charlie and his brother Elio from a friend of mine - his dog had a litter of 10 puppies! My original intention was to keep one and foster one. This has been a very tough decision to give one up because I love them both!

Charlie is partially house trained and fully crate trained. He's smart, has learned "sit" and is following my direction very well. He walks well on a leash for his age. He has been wonderfully playful, is eager to please and will be turn out to be a very fine dog! I value the fact that he's the more low maintenance / chill guy compared with his brother so he will be the easier to rehome.

I've added an adoption fee because I'm on the hook to cover his vet costs for the next 11 months. He has a paid monthly puppy plan at VCA Briarcliff. My understanding is this covers unlimited checkups, all of his vaccinations and microchipping and neutering at around age 10-12m. This is costing me about $70 a month for the next 11 months.
