My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy's ideal home is one where she can be the center of attention. She thrives in a calm and predictable environment, making her the perfect match for a household with adults only. Lucy prefers to be the sole pet in the household, as she appreciates having all the love and attention to herself. With her housetraining skills already mastered, Lucy is ready to become an integral part of your family.
Since many of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes, appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!

Our adoption fees include the following: all of our dogs/puppies are current on vaccinations (DHPP and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, heartworm tested and current on preventative, microchipped, treated for fleas/ticks and are spayed or neutered. Our large dog adoption fee is generally $175 + tax. Our small dog and puppy adoption fee is generally $275+ tax. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Due to space limitations, we do not hold dogs.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all dogs leaving the shelter be in a carrier or on leash. All pets remain up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee paid.
