My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WillaRae came to us as a breeder surrender. She a shy, quiet and cautious girl. She is still learning that people can be caring and loving. WillaRae would probably benefit from having another dog in the home and she feels most comfortable around them. She is often overwhelmed by lots of movement and activity. WillaRae is crate trained. We know with lots of patience, time, and love WillaRae will come out of her shell to be a wonderful companion to someone. She is around 3-4 years old.

Unfortunately, WillaRae did not have a good reaction to the anesthesia when she was put under for the spay surgery. Our vet has advised that unless it was for life saving measures, it is in her best interest to not be put under anesthesia again.

Prior to coming to us WillaRae experienced minimal socialization and will require an adjustment period to feel comfortable in her new home. She will need to continue to work on her potty training and learning how to walk on a leash. A fenced in yard will be required as she doesn't like the leash still. Loud and boisterous homes might not be the best environment.

**Please note, this dog is in a foster home and not at our shelter. We will be scheduling appointments with an approved adopter to meet her.**
