Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abygail came to us as a breeder surrender. She a shy, quiet and cautious girl. She is still learning that people can be caring and loving. Abygail would probably benefit from having another dog in the home and she feels most comfortable around them. She is often overwhelmed by lots of movement and activity and will hide in a corner. Her foster has seen some playful body language sometimes when she is outside in the yard and will wag her tail and periodically get the zoomies. Abygail enjoys lounging on the couch but right now will only jump up when you are not around. She will continue to sit there if you come sit on the couch. Abygail will be getting spayed on 3/1 and then will be ready to go home shortly after that. We know with lots of patience, time, and love Abygail will come out of her shell to be a wonderful companion to someone. Abygail is about 3 years old.
Prior to coming to us Abygail experienced minimal socialization and will require an adjustment period to feel comfortable in her new home. She will need to continue to work on her potty training and learning how to walk on a leash. A fenced in yard will be required as she doesn't like the leash still. Loud and boisterous homes might not be the best environment.
**Please note, this dog is in a foster home and not at our shelter. We will be scheduling appointments with an approved adopter to meet her.**
