If you are looking for an all-around sweetheart, you have clicked on the right cat. Bruce is the friendliest, cuddliest, and silliest boy in the whole word. He would love to be your new snuggle buddy and make biscuits on your lap. He is looking for a home to get all cozy in as well as one with lots of treats and toys. As much as he loves to play, this guy seriously values snoozin', too! He loves to snuggle up on your chest... and run around right after! Bruce is such an easy-going kitty that when he started hanging out in a room with his buddy, Pistachio, the two became inseparable! We've frequently found them cuddling and grooming each other. It's safe to say they are BFFs and would love to find a home together! He seems to enjoy other cats, too, but isn't a big fan of dogs. He also enjoys hangin' with kiddos, so if you have tiny humans in your home, Bruce is OK with that! We could go on and on about how awesome this cat is, but that would take a while. We just suggest you come out and see firsthand how cool he really is! More about this shelter

The Woodford Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal organization located in Versailles, Kentucky. We provide shelter and care to the homeless and unwanted animals in Woodford County, surrounding counties, as well as animals from other states. We care for pets of all breeds and ages, with no time limit on their stay, and we are proud to maintain an annual placement rate of over 95%.

With no government funding, we are completely dependent on private contributions to continue to provide care to around a thousand animals each year.

Adoption fees include spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations and deworming while at our Adoption Center, feline leukemia and FIV screening for cats, heartworm screening for dogs, a microchip with a lifetime registration, a free veterinary checkup, and a starter bag of food.
