My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Look at this gorgeous German Shepherd mix boy named Trent and don’t take your eyes off of him because he is a WINNER!  This boy is only 7 months old and weighs 42 pounds and was found with his brother and sister as abandoned pups in a very rural area right on a highway.  They were in great danger.  Trent is around children, other dogs and would be fine with cats as well.  This boy is shy and has not had many worldly experiences up till now.  If you have looked for a special German Shepherd to rescue then this boy is the one to help!  He will be a 75 pound boy when fully grown and we feel he is 80% Shepherd if not 100%.  We just don’t know for sure. This boy is not housebroken…never been inside to have the chance…he is loving…he is handsome and calm and has all the potential in the world to be a wonderful family companion.

Do you want to rescue a dog?   Well Trent most certainly needs someone to finish the task that Critter Cavalry Rescue started.  Please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com

PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.

More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
