Momma Maggie was found with her head stuck in a bucket and was rescued by a great group of folks in Kentucky. She has raised her 6 babies (the 'M' litter) and now is her turn for a great life!
She is estimated to be around 1 year old, about 30lbs and very sweet and quiet. Foster update 5/4/24: Maggie is timid in new situations, but once comfortable, her inner puppy comes out. She loves balls and ropes and as many chew toys as possible! Once she trusts you, she becomes a big cuddle-bug!
She is house trained and will whine to alert you that she needs to go out. She walks ok on a leash with mild pulling - and foster is working on this and is also working on additional commands too. She follows the resident dog's lead both inside and outside, so another dog in the home is required to continue with building her confidence and learning all the great things about being a family member.
She is ready for her forever family to continue working with her and the reward is priceless!
A quiet, adult only home with a secure fenced yard will be required.
We always recommend obedience training for all dogs!
**Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent.
