My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rembrandt, the majestic Great Pyrenees with a soul as deep as the night sky. At four years old, Rembrandt exudes an air of quiet wisdom and solitude, reminiscent of the great artist after whom he is named. While his peers frolic and play, Rembrandt often finds solace in the serenity of his own company, preferring introspection to boisterous antics.

Unfortunately, Rembrandt came to the Forsyth County Pet Resource Center heartworm positive, but the good news is that we will provide the necessary treatment for him at no additional cost to you! While Rembrandt is undergoing heartworm treatment, he will be placed in our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program so that you can start bonding with your new pet and give him a calm place to get better! Heartworm treatment is very safe, and the success rate is high and the Pet Resource Center prefers dogs like Rembrandt to recover in a home with an adopter rather than in a shelter. If you want to learn more about Rembrandt and how the FTA process works, please stop by or call us at 678-965-7185!
