Cooper is a beautiful 18-month-old purebred Aussie. I rescued him in April. We do everything together, car rides, hiking, play fetch. I installed a fenced yard but neighbors complain about barking so I don't leave him outside when I'm away from home. He plays well with other dogs, lots of energy but no aggression. With his high energy and restrictions where my 92-year-old mother lives in Ohio, I can't take him with me on visits. Cooper is a favorite where I've boarded him in the past for a week at a time, but I don't want to have to board him for required extended visits to mom in the near future. Breaks my heart to have to place him. I travel back and forth from Murphy, NC to Hamilton, OH to care for my mother. The time I need to be there has increased. I am hoping that I can find a foster here or in Ohio or anywhere in between where I can ensure a good home for Cooper, before I'm forced to move from Murphy to be full time with my mother in Ohio.
