My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jubilee - Female - Est. DOB 2/202 - This sweet girl came to us after both her owners died. She lived a sheltered life and is a little unsure about what has happened. She is a very sweet girl and loves attention and to be held but is very unhappy in the shelter. We know she would blossom in a home and with an other feline companion as she is used to being with 7 other cats. You can meet her at the shelter at 422 Lincoln Ave. or fill out an app online at bchsohio.org and we will contact you.

Additional adoption info

There is an initial adoption application, followed by a meeting for approved applicants. If applying for a dog, we require other dogs who reside in the home to come to the shelter for a meet-n-greet as well. If all goes well, you sign a contract for adoption. All BCHS dogs and cats are spayed/neutered prior to adoption and are up to date on age-appropriate core vaccinations.

More about this shelter

We are a small rural shelter that works very hard to find homes or rescues for our dogs. We have a 97% save rate at our shelter which we are very pleased about. Our staff and volunteers work very hard for our dogs. We are always looking for volunteers to help us clean kennels, walk dogs, and just spend some time with the dogs. Donations are very important for our shelter, as we operate on donations.
We have some of the best dogs in Ohio and would love for them to find a new furever home with you!
